About Gigi

For years, I kept moving.
Then I stopped.

I spent over twenty years working as a producer in documentaries and advertising, on projects around the world. I produced documentaries for Al Jazeera, received support from the Sundance Institute for one of my projects and worked as a development producer on a documentary that won an International Emmy in 2021. I later moved into senior production roles, leading large creative teams within companies including WPP and Ascend Group.

Those years gave me experience of working under pressure, leading people and balancing competing demands. From the outside, it was a successful career. But by the time I left, I was miserable. These days, I measure success differently: am I happy with the life I’m living? Am I having fun?

Eventually, I had to admit that I was continuing a life I no longer felt I had chosen. I stopped because the old direction no longer felt right—even though I didn’t yet know what should replace it.

Stopping was only the beginning

Without another career goal to chase, I had to ask what I actually wanted my days to feel like. I started paying attention to the choices I made every day—how I spent my time, what gave me energy, and what left me drained.

I began making room for more of what brought me joy and meaning. Food, movement, yoga and meditation became part of that, but the deeper change was learning to choose how I wanted to live.

My training as a professional chef deepened my understanding of food and cooking. Alongside my health-coaching studies, it gives me a practical foundation for helping people make eating well part of everyday life.

Changing direction in my own life meant facing uncertainty without a clear answer about what came next. I bring that perspective to coaching, with curiosity about your experience rather than an assumption that it will resemble mine.
